Taylor Roig is a License Associate Counselor and graduated in 2017 with a Master’s in Professional Counseling from GCU. She enjoys utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy in order to fit her client’s therapeutic wants and needs.
Taylor has years of experience working with adolescents as both a clinical counselor and school counselor. She also has worked with families who want to improve their relationships. Taylor also enjoys working with adult and adolescent clients who are dealing with substance abuse, experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders and major life transitions.
Taylor strongly believes in the value of unconditional positive regard for her clients, and works to help her clients feel validated, respected, and cared for. She also believes that therapy can be an incredible catalyst for change, and that counseling can be an exciting adventure! Hope is an integral part of counseling, and Taylor encourages the theme of hope throughout the therapeutic process.
When she is not counseling, Taylor loves spending time with her husband, baby girl, and cats! She also enjoys traveling and making frequent trips to Disneyland with her friends and family.
